PROCESS
Commissions are handled through VGen only (clients don't need an account to request a commission). Once details are discussed and payment is received in full, work begins.
Initial draft will be sent for feedback (first 2 revisions are free, see my ToS for additional revisions fees).
After initial draft is approved by the client, final rendering begins.
Finished commission will be emailed to you in high resolution format.
※ ETA can be between 1-3 weeks (but may be longer) depending on complexity, schedule, and current workload. I will update you weekly or you may contact me for a progress update or questions at any time. For a quick progress update, check out my Trello (see: Commission Queue link above) as I will update it with WIP screenshots of current projects.
COMMERCIAL USE LICENSING FEES
If you would like to use your commission for commercial purposes like printing them on apparel or prints to sell at a convention or using them to promote your brand, please let me know. This is a one-time fee and can be used for as many projects and events as you'd like (valid for 1 commission).

1. PAYMENT & REFUNDS
Transactions are handled via VGen only. Invoice must be paid in full within 2 days of billing before work begins. NO REFUNDS once work has started.
a. Payment plans are negotiable. Failure to pay within 2 days of billing will result in the transaction being canceled and the client taken off the queue. If work hasn't started and you'd like to cancel, you'll be issued a full refund.
b. Chargebacks/disputes issued by the client without my knowledge will result in a counter dispute and the client blocked from future collaborations.
2. REVISIONS
All commissions will have 2 free revisions in the initial draft & feedback phase. Additional edits will have fees. If there are any errors in the finished product, I'll revise it for free.
a. Illustrations: initial draft will be sent for feedback before rendering. You may request any 2 revisions for free, if needed. Additional revisions, revisions in the rendering phase or finished product will incur fees (depending on complexity):
i. Additional revisions: +15% each
ii. Revisions requested during the rendering phase or in the finished product: +30% each
3. UPDATES & DELIVERY
You'll receive the high resolution file once the commission is done. Delivery time varies depending on my schedule and complexity of your commission. I don't offer rush services for private commissions.
a. ETA is 1-3 weeks but may be longer. Updates will be provided at least once a week or you may ask for an update at any time. You can also view quick progress updates on my Trello
b. Commercial use commissions: deadlines can be discussed and will incur a 30% fee.
c. I'm unable to send physical prints, client acknowledges that commissions are digital goods only.
4. CLIENT'S RIGHTS
Clients receives exclusive usage rights to the commission for personal use.
a. Personal use means: display on social media accounts for promotional purposes with no direct monetization (i.e. profile pictures [pfp], profile banners and posts, print and framing in personal spaces).
b. NDA's (non-disclosure agreement) to keep the commission private (offline) will incur an additional 30% fee.
5. ARTIST'S RIGHTS
I retain the right to decline any inquiry if I feel that I can't confidently fulfill the request, I'm uncomfortable with the subject matter, or for any other reason.
a. I retain artwork copyright and redistribution rights, which includes (but not limited to): display, advertising, the art itself, work in progress (WIPs) on websites, social media, portfolios, public broadcast channels (i.e. Twitch), etc.
i. My work is not allowed to be heavily edited or traced. This includes, but not limited to: changing poses, anatomy, composition, colors or using filter overlays, using the liquify tool, etc, (basically any edit that's not done by me), coloring in sketch commissions and posting them on social media.
ii. Using commissions (both private and commercial) or my own personal art for others or myself to train AI (artificial intelligence) programs or use for NFT (non-fungible token) or any other cryptocurrency is strictly prohibited.
b. Client can't claim the work as their own, you must have visible credit to me as the artist by using one of the following methods:

- tagging my social media on VGen/Twitter [X]/BlueSky/Instagram/Threads/etc: @oyasumichuri
- by plain text: art by Oyasumi Churi※ Commissions for commercial use do not require credit.
※ By sending a commission request, you agree to my Terms of Service (TOS) and are at least 18 years of age. TOS is subject to change at any time. Breaking my TOS will be subject to being blacklisted from future collaborations.
